Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts
Originally constructed in 1922 to house the American Passion Play, the center has become a landmark within Bloomington's Cultural District. The Center for the Performing Arts has seating available for 1,300 people, and a multi-person ballroom equipped for 1,000 people. Over 400 performances and community events are held here annually.

The Community Players Theatre is the primary outlet for individuals in Bloomington's oldest theater group, formed in 1923. As an amateur theater group, the Community Players performance's are entirely produced by community volunteers.
